Family Scholar House
Thomas Evans is an experienced program director with a strong background in developing and implementing support programs for young adults. Currently serving as Program Director for Young Adult and Non-Residential Services at Family Scholar House since January 2017, Thomas has focused on enhancing educational, financial, and emotional growth opportunities for participants. Previously, Thomas held various roles at Education Matters Southern Indiana and served as Assistant Director of Community Service at Appalachian State University, where collaborative community engagement was emphasized. Thomas also worked as Director of Student Life, Development, and Leadership at Ivy Tech Community College, providing leadership across multiple student-focused initiatives. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Berea College.
