Alyson Ratney Mpa

Alyson Ratney, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alyson started their career as a Police Officer with the New York City Police Department from 1993 to 1997. Alyson then served as a Community Health Worker with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso, where they supported the revitalization of primary healthcare at the village level.

After their time with the Peace Corps, Alyson worked for the United Nations in various capacities. Alyson held roles as a Security Officer, General Services Assistant, and Procurement Assistant with the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). Their responsibilities included managing asset control and inventory, coordinating travel and shipping functions, and ensuring compliance with UN regulations and procedures.

From 2014 to 2015, Alyson returned to the United Nations for a temporary Procurement Assistant position. In this role, they continued to support supply chain projects and implemented effective asset management practices.

Alyson also gained experience in the public sector, working for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Maricopa County. At ADOT, they served as a Contract Specialist and Procurement Specialist, managing the contractual aspects of infrastructure projects. During their time at Maricopa County, they worked as a Grant Contract Administrator, developing agreements and contracts with community partners and service providers.

Most recently, Alyson joined the Family Service Agency as the Director of Operations in November 2022.

With a strong background in procurement, contract management, and operations, Alyson Ratney brings a wealth of experience to their role as Director of Operations at the Family Service Agency.

Alyson Ratney, MPA has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Ashford University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Criminal Justice with a focus on Deviant Behavior/Social Control from John Jay College (CUNY).
