Kachira Copeland

Kachira Copeland is an experienced Behavioral Health Coordinator currently employed at Family Support Services of North Florida since January 2022, previously holding similar roles at Eckerd Connects from January 2017 to January 2022. At Eckerd Connects, Kachira coordinated out-of-home placements for children, demonstrating a strong understanding of resources and the child welfare system. Prior to this, Kachira worked as a Bank Teller at Wells Fargo, where responsibilities included processing customer transactions and enhancing service convenience. Experience also includes serving as an Athlete at Nike, a Student Assistant at Florida International University’s Office of Multicultural Programs and Services, and leading as President of the Collegiate Chapter of the NAACP at FIU, focusing on leadership development. Kachira holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Florida International University, earned in 2015.
