Florentine van Rossum

Florentine van Rossum is a seasoned professional in the field of child and youth care, currently serving as a Forensic Orthopedagogue, EMDR practitioner, and Regiebehandelaar at Familysupporters since October 2021, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Prior experience includes a role as a Psychologist at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand, where Florentine provided cognitive and psychological assessments for students with severe behavioral issues, and as a Forensic Child Psychologist at De Care Express, delivering psychological assessments and therapy to children and young adults facing complex psychosocial challenges. Florentine also contributed to a multidisciplinary ACT team, assisting young individuals with severe psychosocial and psychiatric problems, and worked in youth intervention both as a Social Worker and as a Forensic Child Psychologist.
