Lauren Cygan

Lauren Cygan is an experienced fitness and wellness professional currently serving as the Executive Director at the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area since May 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held positions at Team85 Fitness & Wellness, including Director of Programming and Communications, and served as Group Fitness Professional and Director of Group Exercise, Small Group Training, and Personal Training. Additionally, Lauren has owned and operated BE... a wellness company and has significant experience as a fitness professional with Health Fitness Corp and Go Family Fit, LLC. Lauren's career also includes instructing group fitness classes at Kennedy Fitness and working as a Youth Fitness Instructor at Tumblin' Tots Adventures in Exercise. Earlier in the career, Lauren worked as a Special Education Teacher, Clinical Test Administrator, and Tutor at The Lewis School of Princeton. Lauren earned a degree from Rutgers University–New Brunswick from 1994 to 1998.
