Riya Daftary

Riya Daftary has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as an Innovation Intern at the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship and as a Director of Strategy at FANBASIS INC. Riya also began working as a Campus Ambassador for the Forte Foundation and as a part of the Marketing and Web Development Team for DormDrop LLC. Additionally, they were selected to be a part of Pangea.app's inaugural class of Top Emerging Talent, where they worked on a variety of freelance projects to build their skillset. Riya also collaborated with the Pangea.app team to promote the Top Emerging Talent initiative and support promising students in finding paid work in the Pangea ecosystem. In 2021, they began working as a Head Teachers Assistant for CSE 570S - Recent Advances in Networking at Washington University in St. Louis and as a participant in Bank of America's 2021 Women's Fall D&I Virtual Forum. In 2022, they will begin working as a Private Equity Intern at OMERS Private Equity. In 2016, they completed a Summer Internship at Oxaliz Technologies LLC, where they completed deliverables such as redesigning sell sheets and creating/managing social media, and analyzed Oxaliz's competition.

Riya Daftary is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Dual Degree Program in Business and Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, which they began in 2020. Prior to that, they attended American Heritage Schools - Broward Campus from 2016 to 2020.
