Veroniek De Mulder is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management, negotiation, and mediation across both private and public sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Independent Boardmember at Dimples since April 2017, Veroniek is involved in complex urban projects, multi-modal logistics, and public-private collaboration. Additionally, Veroniek holds board positions at several organizations, including De Werkvennootschap and the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control, as well as advising MG Real Estate on urban and industrial development. Veroniek is a former Judge at the Commercial Court in Ghent and offers expertise as a guest lecturer in mediation and dispute resolution at KU Leuven and Pro Mediation. Educational qualifications include a Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School and multiple degrees from KU Leuven, Vlerick Business School, and Ghent University.

The Federal Agency for Nuclear Control promotes the effective protection of the general public, workers and the environment against the hazards of ionising radiation. THE ESSENCE OF OUR WORK * Anticipating, informing and regulating: We work continuously to improve regulations so that they reflect reality. We run campaigns to raise awareness and to promote prevention. We provide information to our stakeholders. * Licensing and monitoring: We carry out regular inspections to check if the licensee observes all applicable regulations and the imposed licensing conditions. We also operate a radiological surveillance system covering the whole Belgian territory. * Managing the unexpected: We develop adequate procedures, in conjunction with our stakeholders, in order to ensure that all parties concerned are notified rapidly and can respond efficiently in the event of an incident or accident involving ionising radiation. * Looking to the future: We put our knowledge of radiation protection up for constant review to make sure that our information is always up-to-date. We collaborate closely with our foreign counterparts. We encourage and monitor scientific research. We provide in training and development for those employed in the nuclear sector.
