Nicholas Canova

Nicholas Canova is the founder of CBB Analytics, established in January 2018, and has developed it into a leading statistics and analytics platform for college basketball teams. As a data scientist for Fandex since September 2017, Nicholas has been responsible for building sports prediction models that fuel the company’s exchanges. Nicholas also serves as Data Team Lead at Clouty™ and previously worked with the New York Knicks as a Data Infrastructure Consultant, focusing on stats, data, and predictions for Basketball Operations. Additional experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Preferred Return and the Golden State Warriors, a Basketball Analyst at Krossover, and a Valuation Analyst at Preferred Return. Earlier roles included being a Statistics Teaching Assistant at Boston University and an Investment Banking Analyst at Capstone Partners LLC. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Stanford University and dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Boston University.
