Colin Riddell

Colin Riddell is a Senior Software Engineer at FanDuel since March 2021, focusing on building OAuth2.0 services and configurable Free to Play browser games utilizing technologies such as Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes. As a co-founder at The Coder Career from May 2022 to November 2022, Colin contributed to the development of coding education. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Development Instructor at CodeClan, where Colin led technical training for aspiring software developers in Scotland, and as Head of Product and Lead Developer at Bird.i, building a main portal app while mentoring junior developers. Colin also served as Product Manager at ResDiary, Software Engineer at Senient Systems, and Software Engineer – Compilers at Codeplay Software Ltd, where Colin led a development team for a GPU compiler suite. Colin holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of Stirling.
