Jerry Dempsey

Jerry Dempsey is a seasoned professional in software security engineering with extensive experience across various leading organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Software Security Engineering and Senior Director at FanDuel since May 2023, Jerry leads initiatives in application, product, cloud, and platform security. Prior to this, Jerry held significant roles at Warner Bros. Discovery and WarnerMedia, focusing on product and application security, and influencing best practices for software development security at AT&T. Jerry's early career included key positions in DevOps and quality assurance across companies such as Tripwire, nCircle Network Security, IBM, and Internet Security Systems, where substantial contributions were made to security architecture, DevSecOps processes, and product testing methodologies. Jerry completed a Technical Diploma at Middle Georgia Technical Institute and Northside High School.
