Scott Thomas

Since beginning his employment with Fann Contracting in 1988, Scott has gained extensive experience in the heavy truck and equipment maintenance operations. Early in his career he served in various roles as heavy equipment mechanic, lube technician, and parts manager before assuming his current position of fleet manager in 1998. Scott oversees Fann’s maintenance department and overall equipment fleet including heavy equipment, on-highway vehicles, transport, and small equipment. He manages a staff of 25+ employees while monitoring equipment costs, overseeing rental equipment, acquisition and sale of equipment, and coordinating equipment movement to and from projects. Additionally, he handles oversight of Fann’s solid waste hauling contracts.
