Kata Heffron

Kata Heffron is a motivated legal professional currently serving as a Legal Intern at Fannie Mae since June 2024. Previously, Kata worked as a Summer Associate at ArentFox Schiff for a brief period in May 2024, and as a Litigation Paralegal at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from June 2021 to June 2023. Kata began professional experience at Amherst College as a member of the women's soccer team and continued as a Research Consultant Intern at Dewey Square Group from May 2020 to March 2021. Additionally, Kata completed a Casework Internship at the Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand during the summer of 2019. Kata holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Amherst College and is pursuing further legal education at Georgetown University Law Center, while also having attended the University of California, Davis - School of Law, and participating in a summer program in International Relations and Affairs at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
