Sarah Ruttan

Sarah Ruttan has held various prominent roles at Fanshawe College since September 2011, including Academic Program Manager and Acting Associate Dean for the School of Contemporary Media, where Sarah provides academic leadership and supervises teaching processes. Additionally, Sarah has extensive experience in curriculum development, cooperative education, and career consulting, delivering comprehensive employment support services to students and graduates. Prior to their tenure at Fanshawe College, Sarah worked as a Communications Specialist for MP Glen Pearson, and gained valuable writing and reporting experience through positions with CTV News, the Ottawa Citizen, and the Ottawa Sun. Sarah holds a Master’s in Leadership from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor's in Public Administration from Athabasca University, and certifications in Career Development from Fanshawe College, along with a Journalism Diploma from Algonquin College.
