Maanav Gupta

Maanav Gupta is a dedicated sports journalist with extensive experience in reporting and content creation, currently serving as a reporter and contributor for University of Houston Athletics since February 2023. Maanav manages the Houston Basketball page for College Basketball Review and contributes to FanSided's Climbing Tall’s Hill, focusing on the Houston Astros. Additionally, responsibilities include writing for The Cougar and working as a sports reporter and host for CoogTV, analyzing professional and collegiate sports. As a YouTube sports content creator, Maanav's channel features over 50 interviews with athletes and broadcasters. Recent experiences also include being the lead mediacaster for University of Houston men's basketball on Pro Sports Fans and covering the 2023 NCAA Final Four for the US Basketball Writers Association. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Houston, Maanav is committed to delivering compelling sports narratives.
