Vijay S.

Vijay S. has an extensive work experience in the aerospace and aviation industry. Vijay began their career in 2005 as an Engineering Intern at Kayser-Threde GmbH. Vijay then became an Engineering Intern at Honeywell Aerospace in 2006, followed by a Process Engineer at Firth Rixson in 2007. In 2008, they joined NASA as an Aerospace Engineer for the Launch Services Program's Flight Analysis division. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Senior Business Development Manager at Straight & Level Technologies, a startup developing affordable aviation technology. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Consultant for KiwiTech, serving as their Entrepreneur In Residence based in Silicon Valley. Vijay then became the Director Of Business Development at Starfish Space in 2021, before taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development at Turion Space in 2022.

Vijay S. graduated from the University of Michigan in 2006 with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Vijay then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which they completed in 2016. Currently, Vijay S. is attending Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is expected to graduate in 2021.
