Julio Melo

Julio Melo is a Robotics Instructor at ZOOM education for life since February 2023, overseeing technology education classes for pre-school to 5th grade, managing assembly and programming of educational kits, and organizing materials. As a scholar in the Doctor Entrepreneur Program at FAPERJ, Julio is involved in the Affect-Games project, focusing on digital games for education. Julio also serves as General Coordinator at DCE UNICARIOCA, representing student interests in political, social, and educational matters. Previously, Julio worked as an IT Specialist at RWK Ltda during the LAAD Defense & Security Fair, and as an Educational Assistant at Escola Eleva, providing support to students and teachers. Additionally, Julio taught Informatics and Robotics at TED Tecnologia Educacional for grades kindergarten through 9th. Julio is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Centro Universitário UniCarioca, having completed a Vocational High School diploma in Digital Games Programming at Firjan Senai Maracanã.
