Far Brook School
Peter Ncanywa is an accomplished music educator and director with extensive experience in choral conducting and music leadership. Currently, Peter serves as the Boys Choir Conductor and Music Teacher at Far Brook School since August 2018, and as the Director of Music at Prospect Presbyterian Church since October 2013, overseeing a robust music worship program for a congregation of over 200 families. Previous roles include working as a columnist for the Presbyterian Association of Musician's journal from November 2017 to January 2019 and serving as the Assistant Accompanist at Newark Boys' Chorus School from September 2011 to August 2012. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organ Performance and Voice Performance from Montclair State University, along with a high school education in Music Performance from St. George's College and further musical training at Drakensberg Boys' Choir School.

Far Brook School is an independent, coeducational day school located in Short Hills, New Jersey for grades Pre-K through 8. Our purpose is to create a supportive and caring community that cherishes love of learning, creativity, and individuality, and that provides teachers and students with both support and freedom to take risks in order to reach their full potential.
