Caleb Chen is an experienced Archaeological Field Technician and Cultural Resources Specialist with a strong background in archaeological surveys and monitoring for various projects across California. Currently holding roles at Alta Archaeological Consulting LLC, Kleinfelder, Pacific Legacy, Inc., Environmental Science Associates, PAR Environmental Services, Inc., and Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc., Caleb Chen has contributed to significant projects involving vegetation management, wildfire risk reduction, and archaeological monitoring in previously burned areas. Additionally, Caleb Chen has engaged in research at the Forager Complexity Lab at UC Davis, focusing on projectile point trends in the Andes, and has interned at the Center for Experimental Archaeology, where hands-on work with stone tools and lithic artifacts provided valuable insights into prehistoric technologies. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Archaeological Anthropology at New York University, Caleb Chen holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis.
