Denise Jaffke is a highly experienced professional archaeologist with over 25 years in cultural resource management and compliance procedures, primarily in California and the Great Basin. Currently serving as Principal Investigator and Project Manager at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. since August 2021, Denise has previously held significant positions including Cultural Resources Program Supervisor at California State Parks and Associate Environmental Planner at Caltrans. Early career roles include Field Archaeologist positions at Lassen National Forest and U.S. Forest Service - Tahoe National Forest. Denise holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from California State University, Chico.
