Mark Szczerba

Mark Szczerba has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mark started their career as a Conveyance at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in 1999 and 2002. Mark then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2008, where they assisted with various biology courses. Mark then joined UC Davis as a Postdoctoral Fellow and later as a Regulatory/Research Scientist, focusing on genetically modified plants and hydroponic systems. Mark joined The Wonderful Company in 2012 as a Consultant and later became a Consulting Manager, working on internal management consulting projects. Mark then moved to Wonderful Orchards in 2016, taking on roles such as Director of Research and Development and National Director, Bee Operations. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Frinj Coffee, Inc., and currently holds the same role at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc.

Mark Szczerba completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Western University from 1998 to 2002. Mark then pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2008.
