James Robinson

Listar Project Lead at The Faraday Institution

James Robinson is an accomplished academic and engineer, currently serving as a Lecturer in Advanced Propulsion at UCL since August 2022 and leading the LiSTAR project at The Faraday Institution since December 2019. Previously, James held a Royal Academy of Engineering UKIC Research Fellow position and served as an EPSRC Doctoral Research Fellow at UCL from May 2012 to December 2019, where extensive research was conducted in electrochemical power systems. Earlier experience includes a role as a Kilo Technology Lab Student Process Engineer at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 2010 and a summer position at DPS Engineering. James earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Thermal Investigation of Electrochemical Devices from UCL in 2016 and holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, obtained in May 2012.
