Thomas G. Roberts

Thomas G. Roberts, Jr. MD is an accomplished medical professional and finance expert with a diverse background in healthcare and investment management. Currently serving as a Partner and Vice Chair at Farallon Capital Management since April 2010, while also holding the position of Partner and Health Care Portfolio Manager at Noonday Asset Management, LP since January 2009. Previous experience includes instructing medicine at Harvard Medical School, working as an attending staff oncologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, and completing a fellowship in medical oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Thomas's medical training includes a residency and internship in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Thomas holds an MD from Harvard Medical School, a BS in Economics from The Wharton School, a BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.Soc.Sci in Health Economics from the University of Cape Town.
