Maximilian Kaus has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maximilian began their career as a Laboratory Intern at FutureCarbon GmbH in 2007, followed by an internship at BASF. In 2008, they joined RWTH Aachen University as a Scientific Researcher before moving on to Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) in 2010. At KIT, they worked as a Scientific Researcher, focusing on their PhD thesis on LiFePO4 and optimizing the cathode through various coating strategies.

After completing their PhD, Maximilian held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz Institute Ulm (HIU) from 2015 to 2016. Maximilian then transitioned to General Management at Haus Windeby, Inh. Reinhardt Kaus from 2016 to 2019. Following this, Maximilian worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. from 2019 to 2020.

Most recently, Maximilian joined Leclanché SA in 2020 as an R&D Engineer, where they were involved in research and development activities. In 2022, they moved to Farasis Energy as an Application Engineer, utilizing their expertise in the energy sector.

Maximilian Kaus received their education from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. From 2003 to 2009, they pursued a degree in Nanotechnology and obtained their Dipl.-Ing. during this period. Later on, Maximilian also pursued further certifications, including a Dr.-Ing. from Technische Universität Darmstadt, which they obtained in July 2015. Additionally, they obtained another Dipl.-Ing. degree from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in April 2010.
