James Secord

Design Director at Farason

James Secord has a solid work experience in mechanical design and engineering. James started their career in 2001 as a Mechanical Designer at NewMatic Industries, where they worked until 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Mechanical Designer at Applied Manufacturing Technologies. James then joined Adaptive Systems as Lead Mechanical Engineer in 2010 and worked there until 2013. James returned to Applied Manufacturing Technologies in 2013 and held the position of Manager - Industrial Mechanical Group until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they served as Mechanical Lead at Applied Manufacturing Technologies. Most recently, James has been working at Farason Corporation since 2019, initially as a Machine Designer and currently as a Design Director.

James Secord attended Lake Superior State University from 2001 to 2006 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this period. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Rochester High School. In 2010, they obtained a Professional Engineer - Mechanical certification from the State of Michigan.
