Idan Sofer has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as CTO at Fareplace since December 2015, where Idan has been instrumental in architecting the platform with a strong focus on Scala backend development and full-stack involvement. Prior to Fareplace, Idan held the position of Head of DevOps at Teradata Applications, where contributions included rebuilding environments and designing new infrastructure. Additionally, Idan served as a Senior Developer and Head of DevOps at Appoxee, developing a comprehensive understanding of full stack development. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Kampyle and as a Developer at Galsoft. Idan holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the Open University of Israel, earned between 2004 and 2009.
