Gabriel Tavares

Gabriel Tavares is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and quality assurance. As a Software Engineering Lead at FARFETCH since October 2017, Gabriel manages backend API projects, collaborates with Product Managers to prioritize product backlogs, and ensures successful project delivery. Previously, as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, responsibilities included managing and executing comprehensive test strategies across various automated testing types using C#. Gabriel’s career also includes positions as a QA Test Analyst at TRISCAL and a QA Software Test Analyst/Team Lead at Top Down Sistemas, where skills in test plans and test case management were developed. Early career roles included IT support and testing positions at TMKT and Pro Reserve, respectively, alongside an internship at the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro focused on manual testing.
