Hira Shah is a Public Affairs professional with diverse experience spanning program management, community empowerment, and education. Currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at FARI - AI for the Common Good Institute and as a Fulbright ETA to Belgium through the Fulbright Association, Hira has previously held the position of Program Manager at Coro Southern California and participated in various fellowships and placements in public affairs, including work with the Office of Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin and the Southern California Edison. Hira has also contributed to community housing solutions at the Community Empowerment Fund and has interned for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris. An advocate for philosophical education, Hira founded an Elementary Philosophy Program within the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and has presented at notable academic conferences. Hira holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Duke University and has engaged in education at prestigious institutions including the University of Oxford.
