Hon Weng Wong

Hon Weng Wong is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as Executive Director at Farlim Group Malaysia Bhd and Farlim Holding Sdn. Bhd. since March 2019, Wong previously held the position of Legal Counsel at Trafigura, focusing on financing, regulatory issues, and mergers and acquisitions from September 2015 to July 2018. Wong’s career includes significant roles as Senior Associate at Clifford Chance LLP and In-House Counsel at BHP Billiton during secondment, alongside foundational experience as an Associate at Slaughter and May. Wong also acted as Treasury Legal Adviser at HM Treasury during a secondment. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Law from King's College London and a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School.
