Shile Owoka has an extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Shile began their career as a Process Engineering Intern at BASF in 2009, where they created engineering designs and collaborated with internal teams and vendors. Shile then joined Enpure Limited as a Process Engineer in 2010, conducting research to improve energy production processes and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

In 2013, Shile worked as a Business Development Associate at TPI Real Estate Investment Services Corp., where they increased the client base by over 75% through creative market engagement strategies and leveraged technology to manage client databases.

Shile went on to found LITMUS Rewards in 2014, Nigeria's first mobile loyalty marketing platform for retail and consumer brands. During this time, they successfully aggregated top supermarkets, food-chain operators, and major brands on the platform, enabling seamless reward voucher offerings to consumers.

In 2016, Shile became a Founding Member of Flutterwave, a startup that built digital payment infrastructure for Africa. Their contributions to the company include revamping digital remittance systems in Nigeria and leading the West Africa business development team to achieve a market cap of over $50 million in just two years.

From 2018, Shile served as the Country Manager (Nigeria) at Smile Identity, where they introduced highly effective digital identity verification software to the Nigerian market. Shile facilitated access and created opportunities for technology innovators and entrepreneurs in the ecosystem. Additionally, they provided support for securing financing from venture capitalists in Silicon Valley and developed a strategic playbook for expanding the business to multiple African countries.

Currently, Shile Owoka serves as an Investor at Future Africa Collective, where they invest in early-stage African startups. Shile has supported startups such as Nexford University, Moove Africa, First Electric, and RxAll, which are solving major sectoral problems in Africa.

Shile Owoka's education history starts with attending Adesoye College Offa from 2000 to 2006, where they did not obtain a particular degree or field of study. They went on to obtain a Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University. Afterwards, Shile pursued a Real Estate Diploma at New York University from 2012 to 2013, specializing in Real Estate, Finance & Investment. They then attended the Real Estate Education Center in 2013 to obtain a Real Estate Sales Agent License in the field of Real Estate.
