Jason Byrne

Jason Byrne has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Jason currently holds the position of VP of HR at Farm Boy Inc. since January 2019. Previously, they worked at Sobeys, where they held various roles such as Director HR Operations - Alberta, Director Employee Relations and Organizational Engagement, Director National Employee Relations, Manager Employee and Customer Engagement - Atlantic, and Manager HR. Prior to their tenure at Sobeys, they served as an Executive Board Member and Treasurer at Newfoundland & Labrador Employers' Council. Jason also worked as an Industrial Relations Officer at Fishery Products International. Throughout their career, Jason has showcased their expertise in HR management, employee engagement, organizational development, and leadership development.

Jason Byrne completed their Bachelor of Commerce (co-op) degree in Labour Relations at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1981 to 1987. Additionally, they obtained the CHRP certification from the Canadian Human Resources Professional institution in 1999.
