Africa Director & CEO at Farm Concern International

David R. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. David started their career as a Credit Officer and eventually became a Branch Manager at PRIDE Africa. David then joined ECLOF Kenya as the Head of Operations, where they developed the operations structure for nationwide operations. Following that, they worked at UNDP as a National Advisor and Team Leader, where they launched the Participatory Poverty Eradication Program in partnership with the Government of Kenya. David then served as the Economic Development Advisor/Chief Executive Officer at World Vision, where they were responsible for launching the Vision Fund International. Currently, they are the Africa Director & CEO at Farm Concern International, where they implement agri-market development programs for farmers and farmer organizations.

David R. has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University. David also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Entrepreneurship from Moi University.

In addition to their degrees, David R. has obtained several certifications. In 1998, they completed a certification titled "Mainstreaming use of Self-Help Farmer Groups in Rural Banking" from the Bankers Institute for Rural Development (BIRD). In 2001, they attended the "Governance & Operations Summer School" at All Nations Christian College in Hertfordshire, UK. In 2019, they obtained certifications in "Africa Sustainability" from Strathmore University and in "Corporate Governance Training" from Dorion Associates LLP.

Farm Concern International
