Jim Putnam

Jim Putnam has over 43 years of experience working with diverse organizations in various roles. Jim has worked as a "Speaker, Consultant & Facilitator" where they utilized their extensive knowledge in Farm Credit and its history. From 1995 to 2018, Jim served as the Executive Vice President at Farm Credit East, ACA. Jim retired in 2018 but continued working as a consultant. Prior to that, they were the Director of Research at Farm Credit Banks from 1975 to 1994.

Jim Putnam pursued their education in agricultural economics, beginning with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1969 to 1973. Jim then went on to Iowa State University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Agricultural Economics from 1973 to 1975.
