Jason Warren

Jason Warren has a strong background in cybersecurity and information security. Jason has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2008 as the Software & Hardware Systems Chief at the US Coast Guard Academy. From 2012 to 2018, Jason served in the US Coast Guard, where they held positions such as Cybersecurity Specialist, Maritime Critical Infrastructure and Branch Chief, Cyber Audit & Compliance. During this time, they worked closely with the private sector and the Department of Homeland Security to protect critical assets from cyber attacks. In 2019, Jason joined Credit Suisse as a Cyber Security Risk Manager & Emerging Technologies Advisor, where they developed cybersecurity standards and processes. Jason later moved on to MITRE as a Cybersecurity Framework Profile Developer and then to USAA as a Cyber Insider Threat Response. Currently, Jason works at Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. as the VP, Chief Information Security Officer.

Jason Warren earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Excelsior University. Jason attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Jason pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity at Excelsior University from 2012 to 2013.

In addition to their degrees, Jason obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they received the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications from Microsoft. In 2000, they earned the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) certification from Cisco. Furthermore, in 2005, they gained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level.

Later on, in 2015, Jason obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council and the CISSP certification from (ISC)². Additionally, in 2018, they achieved the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA.
