Elisa Mills Nielson

Elisa Mills Nielson serves as Sr Legal Counsel at Farm Credit Mid-America since March 2019, bringing extensive legal and risk management expertise from previous roles, including VP - Home Lending Quality Management at Huntington National Bank from December 2011 to March 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing the quality management of mortgage and consumer lending segments and implementing Dodd Frank regulations. Prior experience also includes serving as Vice President - Regulatory and Operational Risk Management at Citizen's Financial Group and as Senior Corporate Counsel and Vice President at The Provident Bank. Elisa's legal foundation was established through a Doctor of Law degree from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law, complemented by a BA in Government from Western Kentucky University.
