Doug Ward has extensive experience in broadcasting and leadership, having served as Chair of the Board and Past Chair at Farm Radio International since 2001. Prior to this, Doug held significant positions at CBC, including Director of CBC Radio Ottawa from 1988 to 1996 and progressing from Radio Producer to Vice President of Regions from 1967 to 1996. Additionally, Doug was Vice President of Regional Broadcasting at CBC Television from 1983 to 1986. Doug's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Modern History from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College, earned between 1957 and 1961.
