Matthew Yee is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in food systems and production. Currently serving as a Chef at Farm To People since May 2022, Matthew previously held roles such as Fresh Produce Operations Manager at The Spare Food Co. and Food Systems Analyst at ripe.io, where responsibilities included digitizing food supply chains and ensuring quality and sustainability metrics. Matthew also contributed as a Mentor for Valley Venture Mentors, guiding startup companies, and produced the inaugural iCons Podcast to educate the public on scientific topics. Other notable experiences include managing an organic vegetable production at UMass Amherst Student Farm, developing a dairy-free chocolate spread as a Product Development Intern at Chocalive!
