Farm & Wilderness Foundation
Em is a longtime member of the Farm & Wilderness community. She spent many happy summers as an Indian Brook camper and staff, including one as Assistant Director in 2004. She practices medicine in Northampton, Massachusetts where she specializes in gender-affirming care and family medicine. When she is not working, Em is busy raising her young daughter. She has a deep love of the outdoors, which she attributes to her experiences at Farm & Wilderness, a childhood growing up in Vermont, and her Quaker upbringing. Em is a member of the Bethesda Friends Meeting and attends meeting with the Northampton Friends. She is honored to be serving the Farm & Wilderness community as a Board member.

At Farm & Wilderness summer programs, they focus on community, home grown fun and living closely with the natural world. They offer six overnight camps for children ages nine through seventeen, a day camp and a family camp. Four generations of campers have learned a lifelong love of nature and the joy of a simple, participatory life here in the Vermont woods.
