Omar Galicia

Omar Galicia is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the retail and eCommerce sectors, currently serving as Vice President Merchandising Omnichannel and Tribe Lead for Entertainment, Seasonality, Sports & Toys at Walmart de México y Centroamérica since August 2019. Previously, Omar held various senior roles at Mercado Libre, including Sales Director and Head of Marketplace, and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Asociación Mexicana de Venta Online. With a background that includes positions such as Commercial Director at Linio Group and Merchandising Director at Elektra, Omar has a strong foundation in commercial planning and business administration, which is complemented by multiple educational credentials, including an Executive MBA from IPADE Business School and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de México. In addition to professional roles, Omar also contributes as a professor at Crehana.
