Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Lauren started their career as a Staff Auditor at BKD CPAs & Advisors in 2004, where they planned, executed, and monitored financial statement audits. Lauren then moved to EGP PLLC Certified Public Accountants & Consultants in 2005, working as an Audit Senior. In this role, they planned, supervised, and executed various financial statement audits and prepared tax returns. Lauren joined Bank of Prescott in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President, gaining extensive experience in deposit and loan operations. Lauren implemented the bank's credit analysis program, matrix system for pricing loans, and interest rate risk audit program. Lauren also served on several management committees and was responsible for regulatory reporting and compliance. Lauren's next role was at Farmers Bank and Trust, where they served as an Assistant Vice President/Retail Loan Officer and later Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer I. In these positions, they were involved in business development, loan portfolio management, and community engagement. Lauren also played a key role in the bank's acquisition and conversion of another financial institution. Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of banking, financial analysis, and audit.

Lauren Brown completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern Arkansas University between 2000 and 2004. Later, in 2013 to 2015, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU for a professional degree in Banking. In terms of additional certifications, Lauren obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from AICPA in October 2005. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Banking Professional certification from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU in August 2023.
