Steve Parker

Steve Parker has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency services. Steve started their career in 1986 as a Lieutenant at Ponderosa Volunteer Fire Department and then joined Cypress Creek EMS in 1987 as a Senior Paramedic. In 1988, they moved to The Woodlands Fire Department where they served as the Battalion Chief of Training until 2000. In 2011, Steve joined the City of Farmers Branch and held the positions of Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator.

Steve Parker attended Hillside High School from 1977 to 1982. Steve then went on to Houston Community College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fire Protection Technology. Finally, from 1998 to 2002, Steve attended Sam Houston State University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Fire Administration.
