Nigel Buffone

Nigel Buffone has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Nigel is currently working at Farmer's Business Network, Inc. as a Global Product Development Manager. In this role, they lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, conducts market research, manages timelines and budgets, and analyzes product performance data. Prior to this, Nigel worked as a Herbicide Product Manager at Belchim Crop Protection Canada, where they developed business and marketing plans and provided support to the sales team. Nigel also has experience as an Industrial Vegetation Management Account Representative at The Dow Chemical Company, a Field Development Representative at DuPont, and a Summer Research Assistant at Bayer CropScience. In these roles, Nigel gained expertise in crop protection, invasive weed control, herbicide efficacy trials, and brush control work.

Nigel Buffone completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences from the University of Guelph in the years 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a Six Sigma Greenbelt certification from E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in September 2013. Nigel further acquired a First Aid and CPR Level C + AED certification from St. Johns Ambulance in February 2013.
