Meghan Hurley is a food industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in marketing, product development, and operations. Meghan currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing at Farmer's Fridge, a Chicago-based company that manufactures and sells healthy meals out of vending machines.
Hurley began their career in the food industry as a product developer for Kraft Foods. Meghan then transitioned into marketing, first at Farmer's Fridge and then at Chief, a food startup. In September 2019, they returned to Farmer's Fridge as Vice President of Marketing.
At Farmer's Fridge, Hurley has been responsible for leading the retail marketing strategy, developing seasonal programs, and launching the retail digital strategy. Meghan has also negotiated and managed brand partnerships with companies such as Brit+Co, The White House, and Flavor Napa Valley. In addition, they have identified and implemented strategic projects for the organization, such as a gifting program and a retail/ecommerce partnership.
Under Hurley's leadership, Farmer's Fridge has seen significant growth. The company has doubled engagement on local SEO within 6 months of launch and opened new stores on sales target with remodels beating prior sales by 10% WOW.
Looking to the future, Hurley plans to continue expanding Farmer's Fridge into new markets and to further develop the company's digital presence.
Meghan Hurley has a MBA in Marketing from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
