Dexter Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Dexter started their career in 2000 as an Associate/JEM at McKinsey & Company, where they worked until 2003. In 2003, they joined Bristol West Insurance Group as a Product Manager until 2005. Dexter then moved to Farmers Insurance Group, where they held various leadership positions. From 2005 to 2012, they served as a Regional Product Manager. Dexter then became the Head of Personal Lines Product Presentation from 2012 to 2013. After that, they led the Enterprise Customer Experience team from 2013 to 2016. Dexter then took on the role of Head of Service Operations Strategy and Service Delivery from 2016 to 2019. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Head of Direct Customer Sales and Service. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Direct Sales from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Business Transformation at Farmers Insurance Group, starting in June 2023.
Dexter Johnson pursued their education in the field of engineering, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Hons (1st class) degree at the University of Southampton. Dexter attended this institution from 1994 to 1997. After completing their undergraduate studies, Dexter pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering at the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2000.
