Melanie Watson

Melanie Watson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and administration. Currently serving as the Director of Special Projects at Farmers & Merchants Bank since August 2018, Melanie has also held the position of Corporate Executive Assistant within the same organization. Prior to this, Melanie was the Executive Director at the Arkansas Interfaith Committee from July 2011 to January 2025 and worked as a Political Coordinator for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from August 2011 to August 2018. Earlier career experience includes serving as a District Aide for the US House of Representatives from February 2008 to December 2010 and an internship with the United Steelworkers in mid-2008. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Arkansas, earned between 2006 and 2010.
