Carol Chan, CFA, MBA has a diverse work experience in the banking and finance industry. Carol is currently working as a VP, Portfolio Banker at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty in the Finance, Real Estate, and Law Department at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they taught upper division undergraduate level finance courses.

Previously, Carol held various roles at different banks, including Sunwest Bank as a VP, Portfolio Management Team Lead and VP, Senior Portfolio Manager, Citizen Business Bank as a VP, Senior Credit Officer, Woodforest National Bank as an AVP, Portfolio Manager, and Rabobank N.A. as a VP, Financial Analyst. In these positions, they gained expertise in areas such as commercial banking, loan analysis, risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and credit portfolio management.

Carol Chan, CFA, MBA obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and International Business from San Francisco State University in 2000. Carol then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they completed in 2002. In 2012, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
