Kathy Reed

Kathy Reed has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Kathy began their career as a Commissioned Bank Examiner at the FDIC, where they led examinations of financial institutions and delivered presentations on their financial health. Kathy then moved on to Fremont Investment and Loan, where they managed a $6.5 billion division and oversaw strategic initiatives, project management, training, and compliance. Kathy later founded Apex Financial Performance, a business advisory company focused on the finance industry, where they provided services such as risk management and human capital development. Kathy also worked at The Situs Companies as a Director, where they provided senior leadership and direction to improve the company's infrastructure. Kathy then joined MUFG Union Bank, N.A. as an SVP/Director Commercial Mortgage Portfolio Sales Manager, where they managed a $4 billion commercial real estate portfolio and led a team to retain high-quality loans. Currently, Kathy is working at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach as an SVP, Regional Relationship Manager, where they are responsible for the strategic direction, business development, and leadership of a team in the Commercial Real Estate Division.

Kathy Reed completed their BPM Certification at Pepperdine University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, attending from 1986 to 1990. Kathy'seducation journey began at Memorial High School, where they completed their high school education from 1982 to 1986.
