Susmita Pujari

Susmita Pujari has a extensive work experience in the banking industry. Susmita is currently working as a Vice President/Portfolio Banker in the Business Banking Group at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CalPrivate Bank from 2018 to 2022, where they served as VP/Underwriter/Portfolio Manager.

Before joining CalPrivate Bank, they worked at Premier Business Bank from 2013 to 2018, holding the positions of Vice President/Loan Officer and VP/Credit Administration. Their responsibilities involved selling bank products, performing due diligence on loan requests, and conducting credit analysis on loan applications.

Susmita also worked at Malaga Bank as a Loan Underwriter from 2011 to 2013, where they conducted detailed credit analysis, reviewed title and appraisal reports, and assisted loan officers in pre-qualification assessments. Prior to that, they served as VP/Credit Analyst IV at California Bank & Trust and as VP/Commercial Credit Officer at Alliance Bank.

Susmita started their banking career as an Assistant Loan Officer at American International Bank in 1988, gaining experience until 1997.

Susmita Pujari pursued their undergraduate studies in Economics at B.J.B College, Bhubaneswar from 1976 to 1978. Following this, they enrolled at Utkal University and obtained a Master's degree in Sociology from 1978 to 1980.
