Nick Meurer

Nick Meurer is an accomplished GIS Analyst with extensive experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems. Currently serving as GIS Analyst III at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance since September 2010, Nick has developed skills across various roles, including GIS Analyst II and Mapping Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at the Iowa Department of Transportation, where responsibilities ranged from Transportation Planner 1 and Program Planner 2, focusing on map production and data display for the Iowa Transportation Map and other critical transportation documentation. Earlier work as GIS/Planning Assistant at the City of Waukee involved dataset creation and updates. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with an emphasis on GIS from Northwest Missouri State University, completed in 2003.
