Teacher Development And Equity Coordinator at Farmington Municipal Schools

Erin Gockel, M.Ed., currently serves as a TAP Consultant with Cooperative Educational Services and has been the Teacher Development and Equity Coordinator at Farmington Municipal Schools since August 2003. With extensive experience in educational equity, leadership coaching, and professional development, Erin acts as an advocate for teachers, parents, and students, overseeing onboarding processes and the district's mentoring program. Previous roles include Instructional Facilitator and High School Social Studies Teacher, with a focus on data-driven instruction and differentiated lessons across various grade levels. In addition to teaching, Erin contributes as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Western New Mexico University and San Juan College, while also facilitating energy content lessons with The NEED Project and working on micro-credentialing with the New Mexico Public Education Department. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Fort Lewis College and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
