Abdel Wahab Turkmani

Abdel Wahab Turkmani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Abdel Wahab is currently the CEO of FarmLend, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they were a member of the LD15 Cohort at Entrepreneur First from September 2020 to April 2021.

Abdel Wahab also co-founded Util in 2017 and served as the Co-Founder & CTO until January 2020. Util is a company that utilizes machine learning to measure the social and environmental impact of listed companies, helping investors make informed decisions.

Earlier in their career, Abdel Wahab worked as a Summer Intern at National Instruments in 2015.

Abdel Wahab Turkmani completed their high school education at the International School Al-Koura, earning a high school diploma from there. Abdel Wahab then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut from 2011 to 2016. During their time at the university, in 2014-2015, they participated in an exchange program at Lund University, focusing on Electrical and Computer Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Oxford from 2016 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science.
